Shah Rukh Khan's Happy New Year, created by Red Chillies Entertainments Pvt Ltd, kept on breakking records by having the greatest Box Office gathering in India for the opening weekend. It has gathered Rs. 108.86 Crores on the opening weekend all India, with Rs. 104.10 Crores in Hindi, Rs. 2.92 Crores in Telugu name and Rs. 1.84 Crores in Tamil name.
HNY has turned into the most elevated opening weekend ranker in Indian movies as such. Venky Mysore, CEO RCE said, "We are excited that after Chennai Express had set another record in 2013, Happy New Year has set an alternate new benchmark.
