The five-man a cappella bunch Pentatonix holds candles in a cavern for their Mary, Did You Know? feature. The melody, composed by gospel vocalist/humorist Mark Lowry in 1985, is from their vacation collection, That's Christmas to Me.
Scott Hoying, Mitch Grassi, Kirstie Maldonado, Avi Kaplan and Kevin Olusola are the five vocalists who make up Pentatonix. In 2011, they met the day preceding the tryouts for The Sing-Off on NBC. Together, they won. They have a tendency to sing spread melodies from a mixture of specialists including Lorde and Pharrell Williams. That is Christmas to Me is their second full-length Christmas collection.
