Honda to Expand Takata Air Bag Recall Nationwide

Honda said Wednesday it will extend a review of cars outfitted with blemished driver's side air sacks made by Japan's Takata Corp. to each of the 50 expresses, The Associated Press reported. The proclamation comes as Takata, automakers and the country's auto security guard dog show up before a House subcommittee to affirm about the flawed air sacks. Under specific conditions, the air sacks can stretch with an excess of energy, retching shrapnel at travelers. They have been connected to no less than five passings, yet Takata has so far declined to increase the review across the country in spite of an interest from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
